I've officially POPPED. According to Calida. (: It's not my fault that the acronym for Passing Out Parade is POP. >.<

POP was really good! Nothing too spectacular, just homely and sweet. Bonding with section! (: Also, I didnt cry, when I expected myself to. Oh well, I guess I'm growing up. (: Presents were really sweeeeeeet, I was really touched and all. (: Especially with all the photos and everything. Old old ancient photos that made me burst out laughing, and all the memories of everything I've done as part of SNSB's FRENCH HORN section. ((:

In addition, I felt a whole surge of pride, like one of a mother or elder sister, when SNSB's 2009 Band Major and Drum Major were announced. Even though I already knew about it so long before, but I guess the actual handover ceremony made me smile and cheer and give a standing ovation to my dear dear juniors. Both of you greatly deserve the posts, and I believe the whole YELLOW BATCH is sure that you two will do a really really good job in leading the band! (:

Chalet stayover was special, in a way. Eating KFC, horsing around, watching the SUNRISE, basking in the cool morning atmosphere, roasting marshmallows, comforting you, talking about FRH to you, being largely touched by all the presents, loving the horn tee, playing charades, playing TURTLE, learning bridge, doing so many things that made me feel like such a close part of the whole section. Basically, ULTIMATE BONDING.

Though POP wasnt perfect, it was good enough for both Weiling and I. I'm sure both of us, and all of you, had a really great time spending the night together. (: Sure, promises of future section outings were said, comforting and encouraging words exchanged, but I guess, all in all, we will stay together. No matter how far apart we are, how long we've not spoken, how long we've not met, I guess that when we finally do reunite again as HORN SECTION 2008, we will have the same amount of fun as we do now. (:

It's surreal, really, leaving band and horn playing. I've been in band all my life, and this is probably the only thing I've actually fallen deeply in love with, such that I'm feeling so many withdrawal symptoms now. I'm starting to think if I should join band again in JC. Most likely not. (:

These SEVEN YEARS of being in the band, playing the horn, FOUR of which were spent playing the FRENCH HORN, have been enormously fulfilling. I'll miss every single one of you. Every single one. <33
